It’s the end of the year, so I don’t like to tell myself no. January 1st comes with New Years resolutions and diets so I need to live out my best life for the rest of the year. And I’m living my best life eating PIZZA! If there’s one thing New Jersey got right, it’s pizza so let’s get to the BEST pizza places in Bergen County.

Date Night Pizza- Porto Wood Burning Pizza & Pasta (North Bergen, NJ)

There is something cozy/romantic about a wood burning oven. They have good Italian wine and great mixed drinks. This place will leave you booking a trip to Italy ASAP! Let’s talk about the menu for a second. It’s insane. Get the kale Caesar salad and the tartufo burrata e prosciutto pizza and you will be in heaven! If you aren’t in the mood for pizza, they also have great pasta! YUM!

Ladies Night Out Pizza- S. Egidio (Ridgewood, NJ)

Looking for a new spot for your ladies’ night out? S. Egidio is the place to go! Bring your favorite bottle of wine and call all your girlfriends! This place has a cozy/fun feel to it. It is the perfect pregame spot before you go bar hopping. Fill up on the burrata and the Margherita pie.

Kid Friendly Pizza- Brooklyn Pizza (Hackensack/Ridgewood/Edgewater, NJ)

Great pizza spot to bring the kids! They have the red and white checkered table cloths so you know its going down Italian style. It’s aplace where the kids can get a little messy and loud and nobody will really disturb you. Brooklyn Pizza has more of a traditional feel with amazing pizza! Get the fried ravioli and regular pie and call it a night!

Best Bang for your Buck Pizza- La Bella Roma (Paramus, NJ)

Looking for a quick, cheap, satisfying slice? La Bella Roma is the place to go! Their specialty slices are amazing [hello chicken bacon ranch] but their plain is great as well! Located conveniently off of Farview Ave, La Bella Roma has the best bang for your buck pizza.

For the Ambiance Pizza- Aumm Aumm Pizzeria & Wine Bar (North Bergen, NJ)

The one thing I love almost as much as pizza is good wine! Fun fact: Aumm Aumm (pronounced ah-oom ahoomma) means “hush hush” or “on the low” in the Neapolitan dialect. They have a wide-ranging list of +150 wines to choose from to pair with your pizza. Aumm Aumm has very good salads, pastas, and pizzas! Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed!

Convenient Delivery Pizza- Anthony Francos (Paramus/Ramsey/Fort Lee, NJ)

Anthony Francos pizza is taking over Bergen County! They originally opened up in Paramus and now have two more locations in Ramsey and Fort Lee. Since there are multiple locations across Bergen County, it is convenient no matter where you live! They have great specialty slices like buffalo chicken pizza! If you want to go a little more basic, their plain is just as tasty!

Late Night Bite Pizza- Pizza Town USA (Elmwood Park, NJ)

Ever been in the mood for late night pizza and all you can find is the Domino’s number? Have no fear! Pizza Town is here! Pizza Town is open until 1am and will satisfy your late-night cravings! One of the oldest pizza joints in Bergen County and it’s still in business for a reason! If you have a little extra room in your stomach, try the fried calzones! Perfect late-night snack!

Now that we know where to go to satisfy your pizza cravings, I’m off to buy a slice. Where are your favorite pizza spots in Bergen County? Leave them below!
